Bad dreams

oooh boy. I had a whopper bad dream last night.

I dreamt I was escaping some bad guy who really wanted me, and apparently everyone I love, a dead. He was bad like the movie "The saw" bad.

after an entire nights rest of hiding, being chased and sneeking around the dream ended with the guy putting up a sign that read "everything in house for free" in front of my parents house.

People started marching in taking what they pleased. Drone type people. Mindless shoppers. No one listening to my cries "stop! put down my moms underwear!!" It was a heard of freeloading madness.

It was the mall at christmas time.

Holiday Slackage!

MAN! Did I fall back on my working out and dieting bit or what?!? Thanksgiving really did me in with all of it's cheese cake, peanutbutter pie and whatnot.

I have some serious getting in the groove to do this week. My application for fire school is due on the first and I still have to have things notarized, my fingerprints taken at the PD, and a physical exam done.

money money....spend it to make it.

I was quite a bit stressed out about getting kiddo stuff for christmas....since I'm broke all the time and all of my extra cash is going to getting into school....but then JoAnne my bestest friend in the world told me she needs a new home for her turtle and it's fantastic aquatic set up!! YAY! I just happen to know a little girl who's been asking santa for a turtle for years! And I refuse to buy ANY critter from a pet store...this is a family turtle!

JoAnne is moving to Idaho...no....Ohio?...no no that's not right either...Utah?? CRAP!! Where the hell is my bestest friend in the whole world moving to?!? OREGON!! Thats it...she's moving to Oregon and can't take her turtle with her so BAM! Instant christmas gift!

air from my baloon

It's amazing how much a persons self esteem can be dashed by a child.

I felt pretty right up until : "Cheri's face is scaring me, she has makeup on! What have you done with Cheri?!?"

Nice huh. And to think I've let an 11 year old's words bother me all day long.

a quick review

ok so since I last had a blogg several moons ago this is whats been going on:

finished EMT school, waiting for certification

working as a waitress in a dark and gloomy *gag* sports bar

still with the uber cool and sexy boyfriend after surviving 2 rounds of him being far off in papua new guinea

training to be a firefighter....well, training to pass the agility test to get into school to train to be a fire fighter

quit smoking for almost three weeks.....holding strong

new neighbors....young new neighbors who fight loudly about stuff like where to hang the dallas cowboy shaped magnetic knife holder

....and thats about it moving right along I suppose. Someone at work the other day called me ScaryCheri and I said to myself "Self!" I said "Why don't you start a new blogg?" So I did.

Jelly arms

My arms hurt sooo much from this training crap, but yet I have a need to go play frisbee. It's not going to happen though for several reasons..
-no frisbee
-the temperature is dropping dramaticall outside
-and no one to play with

It seems like a good time to make a fresh pot of coffee and read a good book.
But I want to get out there and get strong!!
Hmmm, imagine how much motivation I'll have after the coffee!
Yes that's it, work with the procrastination and not against it.

Me and My Sledgehammer

So, the object is to hit the tire until it crosses that line.
A tire.
A truck tire.
Hit it with this 8 pound sledgehammer until it crosses that line.

14 whacks and about 6 inches later I realized I might need some additional training.
Thus begins my sledgehammer mornings.
